Wang Jun-Jieh
王俊傑

Wang Jun-Jieh (b.1963) is associate professor at the Department of New Media Art at Taipei National University of the Arts, and Director of the Center for Art and Technology. He holds a master’s degree from HdK Art Academy, Berlin and has been honored with prestigious awards including Hsiung- Shih New Artists Award (1984), the Berlin Television Tower Award (1996) and the Taishin Arts Award (2009).

His work has been included in numerous international exhibitions, including: Monadism, (Cité des arts, Paris, 2011), Contemporary Taiwanese Art in the Era of Contention (Johnson Museum of Art, Ithaca, 2004), Promenade in Asian: Cute (Contemporary Art Gallery, Art Tower Mito, 2001), The Sky is the Limit: Taipei Biennial (Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Taipei, 2000), The 3rd Asia-Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art (Queensland Art Gallery, Queensland, 1999), The First Fukuoka Asian Art Triennale (Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, Fukuoka, 1999), Inside Out: New Chinese Arts (P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, New York; San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, 1998), Cities on the Move (Secession, Vienna; CAPC Musée, Bordeaux; P.S.1 Art Center, New York; Louisiana, Denmark; Hayward Gallery, London, 1997), and the 47th Biennale di Venezia (1997).

He currently lives and works in Taipei, Taiwan.

⺩俊傑 (Wang Jun-Jieh),1996年畢業於德國國⽴柏林藝術學院 (HdK Berlin),獲卓越藝術家最高⽂憑 (Meisterschule),為臺灣少數知名新媒體藝術家兼策展人,目前為國⽴臺北藝術⼤學藝術與科技中⼼主任,同時也是新媒體藝術學系專任教授。

1995年以錄像裝置作品《⼗三日⽺肉⼩饅頭》獲德國「柏林電視塔藝術獎」。2000年獲⽇本著名美術雜誌「美術手帖」推選為「最受注⺫的100位藝術家之一」。2002年受⽇本福岡亞洲美術館邀請製作公共錄像裝置作品《雙城記》,並於同年獲日本 NHK 電視台製作三⼗分鐘紀錄特輯於「亞洲名⼈錄」(Asian Who’s Who) 在全球頻道播映。2009年以錄像裝置作品《⼤衛天堂》獲得台新藝術獎之年度視覺藝術類百萬大獎殊榮。⺩俊傑甚早便將觸⾓全⾯伸向國際當代藝術舞臺,重要國內外展覽包括:「移動中的城市」 (維也納分離主義藝術中心, P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, NY, 1997)、第 47 屆威尼斯雙年展 (義大利, 1997)、《Inside Out: New Chinese Arts》(P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, NY , SFMoMA, 美國, 1998)、福岡亞洲藝術三年展 (⽇本, 1999)、台北雙年展 (臺灣, 2000)、「單子主義」(巴黎, 2011)、「杜象與/或/在中國」(UCCA, 中國, 2013)、柏林跨媒體藝術節 — 分裂台灣2.0 (德國, 2014)、「若絲計畫:冷漠的賽拉薇」(台北, 2015)。
