“Invisible Portraits” are performance-based drawings. In a one-on-one setting, River Lin draws portraits of gallery visitors while blindfolded, sensing a person’s presence through physical contact, conversations or simply “gazing” in silence. At the end of each drawing, the artist names the visual message delivered to the participant.
“Invisible Portraits” are part of the exhibition, “‘Every Man is an Artist’ – Talking About Artists’ Social Engagement.”
