Invisible Portraits’ are performance-based drawings. In a one-on-one setting, River Lin draws portraits of gallery visitors while blindfolded, sensing a person’s presence through physical contact, conversations or simply “gazing” in silence. At the end of each drawing, the artist names the visual message delivered to the participant.
